As well as our architectural and marine services, the diverse skills and 'can do' attitude of the personnel here at SD Sails has seen us undertake work that doesn't necessarily fall into our mainstream sectors.
The details of some of the more diverse projects we have been asked to get involved with have been subject to strict confidentiality agreements, due to their developmental nature, but suffice to say, wind energy has been a re-occurring theme. Other projects have included the design and development of specialist bags and cases, clothing and technical wear, veterinary harnesses and supports, and automotive fabric components.
One job we regularly undertake is fitting large curtain eyelets to domestic curtains supplied by individuals or interior design shops alike. Available up to 66mm diameter in a variety of finishes, these are the real deal for a proper job, unlike the self fit plastic alternatives.
Another job we are often asked to do is general industrial stitching, where someone else's work needs a heavy duty machine to finish or repair it, or a section of stitching might be required in the development of a product.
As with all our products, every aspect of our work can be finished to your own personal preference or requirements, so if you have a job or an idea you would like to discuss, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
